Booking Policy
1. Booking Process

All bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability. Last-minute bookings are subject to availability.

Your booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from us upon receiving full payment for service, which is non-refundable.

There is a minimum booking duration of 2 hours for studio rentals and 3 hours for private events. Clients must book enough time to cover setup, the actual shoot/event, and breakdown/cleanup.

2. Payment
​

A full payment for all services is required at the time of booking to secure the space. This payment includes a mandatory cleaning fee of RM30 for studio rentals and RM50 for private events.

A refundable security deposit of RM100 for studio rentals or RM150 for private events will be collected to cover any potential damages to the space, equipment, or furniture. The deposit will be refunded within 2 working days after inspection, provided no damages are found.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling​

Cancellations are strictly not allowed.

Rescheduling is possible without extra charge if requested 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking. Any changes made within 48 hours of the booking may result in additional fees.

4. Cancellation by studio
​​

Bleum Haus reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., emergencies, technical issues).

Clients will be notified promptly and given a full refund or an opportunity to reschedule at no extra cost.

5. Arrival and Departure
​​

Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Early access may only be granted with prior approval and additional fees.

All equipment, props, and personal items must be cleared from the space by the end of your booked time. Failure to depart on time will result in additional charges.

Any additional time beyond the booked duration will be charged at the standard hourly rate, rounded up to the nearest hour.

6. Space Usage and Equipment
​

The rented space may only be used for the purpose outlined in your booking request. Any other use must be discussed and approved in advance.

You are welcome to use the studio’s movable furniture (e.g. wheeled mirror and wheeled coffee tables) and equipment (e.g. stools, chairs, trays, small props and photography equipments) within reason.

All large furniture and sets within the studio are fixed and designed to stay in their designated locations. This includes sofas, coffee tables, rugs, display stands, mirrors and standing lamps. Moving or rearranging larger fixtures and items is prohibited without prior approval.

If you require specific adjustments or have special setup needs, please communicate these requests at the time of booking. We will do our best to accommodate such requests within the constraints of our fixed setup. In exceptional cases, minor adjustments may be permitted, but only under the supervision of our studio staff and must be returned to their original position immediately after use.

Any damage to the space, furniture, or equipment during your session will be deducted from the security deposit. If damages exceed the deposit, you may be liable for additional compensation.

No permanent modifications, such as painting, drilling, or altering the structure, are permitted. Any damage caused by such actions will result in forfeiture of the security deposit.

7. No Food and Beverage Consumption

Food consumption is strictly prohibited inside the studio or shooting areas. This policy helps protect the space and equipment from potential damage, spills, or stains that may occur during sessions.

While food is not allowed, beverages may be consumed in designated areas outside of the main studio/shooting area. Please ensure all beverages are handled responsibly to avoid spills near equipment and furniture.

A mandatory cleaning fee of RM30 for studio rentals and RM50 for private events will be charged to all bookings. Additional cleaning fees will apply if the studio is found with food remnants, stains, or spills.

8. No-SHOES policy

To protect studio flooring, equipment, and furniture, outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the studio. All participants, including photographers, clients, and attendees, must remove shoes upon entry.

Clients may wear socks or indoor slippers provided by the studio upon request.

For photoshoots requiring specific footwear, the shoes must be clean and not worn outdoors.

9. Capacity Limits

Each space has a maximum capacity limit for safety and comfort. For safety reasons, clients are required to adhere to this limit. Exceeding the maximum capacity may result in additional fees or termination of the session.

10. Content Responsibility
​​

The client is responsible for all content created in the space. Any content that violates laws or regulations (e.g., illegal activities, explicit content without permission) is prohibited and may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without a refund.

11. other Restrictions

Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside the rental space. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of your session and forfeiture of the security deposit.

Please be mindful of noise levels, especially since the space is located near residential or other businesses. Loud music or disruptive behaviour is not allowed.

12. Repurposing of Content

By booking with us, you grant permission for the studio to repurpose any behind-the-scenes content, stills, or snippets captured during your session for promotional use. This includes but is not limited to social media posts, website galleries, and marketing materials.

We will not use or share any client-sensitive materials or proprietary content without prior written consent. If there are specific aspects of the shoot that you do not want repurposed, please notify us in writing before the session.

We may request permission to credit your brand or creative work when showcasing repurposed content. We will notify you of any such requests and provide appropriate credits where applicable.

13. Insurance and Liability

For large productions or commercial shoots, you may be required to provide proof of insurance that covers liability and damage. If needed, this must be provided prior to the booking.

By booking the space, you agree that the studio is not liable for any personal injuries or damage to personal equipment that occurs during the session. You are responsible for ensuring the safety of your crew and equipment.

The studio cannot be held responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items left behind after a session.

By proceeding with the booking, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the terms of this policy. Failure to comply with any of the above terms may result in penalties, additional charges, or the termination of your session.
